Though their workload is already overwhelming, sometimes teachers can feel obligated to take on clubs, coaching positions, committees, conferences, mentoring and other opportunities that may be offered to them outside of the classroom. While these are all sure to be fulfilling, having a lack of time for oneself is detrimental to the ideal work-life balance.
